Where we go
Laugardalshöll arena. A sports and exhibition venue in the Laugardalur area. In 1972 it hosted the famous chess match between Bobby Fischer and Boris Spassky.
Höfði House. A white house on the waterfront where Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev met in 1986, a meeting remembered as one of the first steps towards ending the Cold War.
Harpa. Reykjavik’s glass-fronted concert hall by the old harbour.
Hallgrímskirkja. The tall white church you can see from almost anywhere in the city.
Perlan. The glass dome on Öskjuhlíð hill, with wide views over Reykjavik.
Bessastaðir. The official residence of the President of Iceland, just outside the city.
